Restrooms were clean, water for showers was hot and available, trails were in good shape, host was helpful, and cell coverage was good. Our only complaint was that the pit toilet was quite stinky and you could smell it at some distance. However, there was a regular flush toilet available.

The restrooms were very basic and soap was missing and only refilled for the second night of my stay. One could hear the near interstate more than I expected, but apart from that everything was fine and working properly.

I, a middle-aged woman, camped alone at Sycamore Grove, and I felt safe. The camp host was very nice and told me about hiking trails near the park, and answered my many questions. If I ever camp in the area again, I will likely stay here.

Once was a nice park with the prior camp hosts. Unfortunately the park has become a homeless shelter and I will never return

The days we were there, it was quiet and peaceful. Windy as heck but otherwise a very enjoyable time. Hosts were friendly and grounds and bathrooms were clean. Federal park rangers were vigilant and came thru often to keep the local riffraff out. Would camp there again. Would love to see the fish hatchery open again.

Decent place to spend a night. Spot was somewhat level. The area where picnic table sat was weeds. The host campsite looks very in professional. I’m guessing they are never checked on
