I loved it here! Super private and quiet the only thing is that this place is not kid friendly, to get to the river you need to hike down and it can be dangerous, however once you get down to the lake it’s just so so beautiful the water was super warm and the views were just breath taking :) nice place to go w a group of friends or some :)

The road up to the camp was insane if you have and rv or 5th wheel i would stay here. There is no where to tuen around if you dont have a gate code and god for bid if another car or 5th wheel, rv etc is coming at you because the road is that narrow that one of you is going to have to back up. Camping area was clean it was tight as we had 2 rvs 40 foot a 5th wheel then a trailer. The out houses were nasty. And the walk to the water was a steep rocky hill, and there was alor of debris and broken glass. Had fun but not at all what we were expecting. Do you research before you stay at this place. No hookups or water.

When we got to our site at loop1, there was garbage everywhere. We called the office but they didn’t send anyone out to clean. Ended up spending an hour cleaning in the hot weather. Also the on the 3rd night we heard several gun shot noises which scared our kids. Lake was nice but overall I probably will not go back.

Camping spaces were nice and clear. Tables in great shape. Would be nice if poison oak was cleared more often from around camp spots. Bathrooms should be cleaned more often, said last cleaned was 6/18, we checked in 6/19 and one bathroom was pretty full.

We had a nice family camping trip. The area fit about 30 people nicely with a lot of space in between our tents. The kids enjoyed swimming, having a cove to ourselves ensure that the kids got to play without our fear of boats coming in. The rangers and park workers were very nice and helpful.
