Sacramento River RV Park

My only issue with this rv park is the WiFi. You have to pay for it, which honestly should just be an added $4 charge to begin with. Then trying to set it up is ridiculous. You have to wait for an email to get your passphrase after you pay for it, which took 1.5 hours to receive. The only way I actually found my passphrase was by clicking the link for customer support. Then when you want to add another device you have to find the Mac code for the device you want to add. We searched our tv system and eventually found our Mac code and even though the WiFi says we connected to it, when you try to open any streaming service it says you’re not connected. This is ridiculous. The park is absolutely great. We’ve stayed here 3 times. But if you want to stream anything while you’re staying here, good luck to you.

Nobody told us the park was across the river from an enormous Lumber Yard running heavy equipment two shifts a day. The noise and smell were a nasty surprise. When we arrived to our site we had neighbors with two tents along with their trailer, smoking dope and entertaining a large extended family. Many sites have long term trailers with numerous vehicles. Not a great look.

We enjoyed our time at this campground. We had a well shaded pull-through spot looking at river. People there were so friendly. Nice little community. Would stop again if going through Redding area. Had great steak supper at Jack's downtown, too!

We reserved a limited spot right on the bank of the sacramento river...it was picturesque! Easy to find, reasonable cost, no issues. We will stay again on our trips from Portland to Roseville....and for safety and liability reasons there is no river access. Thank you for protecting kids and our doggies.

Won’t stay again because the logging/industrial site right across the river is super loud both day and night (listen to the video). Staff was nice when I called prior to arrival. Sites are wide with good quality gravel. River looks nice but that industrial site is right on the other side so it wasn’t peaceful like I thought it would be.
