Nice views and clean sites made this a pleasant stay. The atmosphere strikes a good balance and lively enough for families with kids to play and enjoy themselves, but not overly noisy. The restrooms were clean, and the staff was kind and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy. We didn’t use the pool or other amenities, but the restrooms were well maintained. There are also some nice hiking spots and great bike trails nearby. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors with family.

This was a frustrating experience overall, especially for a first-time visit.
While the staff I interacted with, Vanessa, Jacob, and a gentleman at the front desk were helpful and did what they could, the overall organization of the campground was lacking. It often took a long time to get assistance, and I even had to find my own picnic table instead of it being assigned or ready at the site even with me asking for one several times.
When we arrived, someone was already set up in our reserved space and didn’t leave until around 3 PM the next day, despite checkout being at 11 AM the following day. That alone took up a large portion of our stay and set the tone for the rest of the experience.
There was also little to no clarity about where our site boundaries actually were. It wasn’t obvious what area belonged to us, and I had to ask the next day just to confirm. I ended up moving from the original spot because it was too tight for a larger tent, and the second site I moved to was on a noticeable slope, making setup difficult and sleeping uncomfortable. For those looking to do camping with a tent most of all their tent areas are on a slope and there isn’t many with an even level for set up.
On top of that, the environment was far from peaceful. The sites are extremely close together, there were constant airplane noises overhead, and a large Boy Scout group nearby added to the noise level. This was not a quiet or relaxing camping experience at all.
For a campground like this, there needs to be much clearer organization, better site management, and more direction for guests especially those visiting for the first time. As it stands, the experience felt chaotic and poorly managed.
Unfortunately, despite the helpful staff, the overall experience was disappointing enough that I would not recommend this place for others or return in the near future.

Loved this place! ❤️ Went this weekend to relax from a long week at work.
I stayed in a tent on the lush grassy hillside.
The hill does plateau at a lot of the tent campsites, so do not be deterred that they are on a hill. Most sites are centered around a fire pit (no wire grill). I will say to bring your own tables as I did notice some benches have been doubled up at different sites, most likely by visitors.
Lots of amenities; pools, showers, store, access to the regional park, fishing lake, trails, etc.
Staff constantly drove around the park at all hours. That was a plus in my opinion.
My only turnoffs were the allowing of generators at the tent sites. Too close of a proximity for use of one. RV sites down the hillside made sense but those had hookups so generators weren’t necessarily needed. Restrooms needed a little more attention as unfortunately some visitors aren’t too savvy on knowing how to properly use or leave a restroom for others.
All in all, I am looking forward to booking my next trip at the Bluffs.

We found this gem of a campground almost by accident on the way back home to the Bay Area from Las Vegas a couple of months ago, and returned to stay for four nights while visiting family in the LA area. These guys run a tight ship. The grounds are well-kept and clean. My only critique is that the showers are pretty old, and could stand to have the cobwebs knocked down from the ceiling, but they were mostly clean, definitely functional, and supplies were checked and restocked often. Despite being only a five minute drive off the freeway, it has a very serene feel. The staff is wonderfully friendly, quick to smile and eager to help. Checking in and even a mid-stay move (because we extended our stay) were handled effortlessly and with pleasure. The RV spots overlooking the lake provide outstanding sunset views. We'll definitely return. I recommend wholeheartedly.

An absolute hidden gem!
This place is incredible. We bring our trailer here about 6–7 times a year, and it is always incredibly peaceful and satisfying. We just stayed for the 4th of July weekend—one of the busiest weekends I've ever seen—and the park was still spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained.
The staff is friendly and helpful; when we realized we needed a campsite table, they delivered one to us right away. The atmosphere is perfect for families, and it was great seeing everyone have such a good time. A major highlight was the guest-organized golf cart parade, which was an absolute blast! (Just a heads-up if you join in: prepare to get hit with water guns and water balloons!)
We will absolutely be making this our go-to spot for the 4th of July every year
