What Guests Are Saying

Coyote Valley RV Resort features a well-maintained facility with nice amenities, including pools and a dog park, and is praised for its friendly staff who go above and beyond to assist guests. However, issues with ants and communication regarding site assignments have been reported, leading to dissatisfaction among some visitors. While many guests appreciate the park's layout and community atmosphere, concerns about customer service and pest control need addressing for a better overall experience.

The facility itself is nice including the office and the amenities. BUT! The ants are HORRIBLE and the landscaping is HORRIBLE. When we first “applied” to stay at this campground, we selected one of the larger spots. We arrive and we are put into a small spot, after asking numerous times to be moved it’s a different story every single time for weeks. We were asked 4 seperate times if we would like to be on “the waiting list” for the spot we were supposed to have and we got on every time, so that goes to show we were lied to EACH TIME! BUT when you do book this place, they do not tell you which spot you are getting until you arrive. So they are fully capable of moving your current spot. They choose not to and they pick favorites. Watching people around the park move to different spots and yet it’s another story for us. Numerous people told us to stay away from this place for this exact reason and we tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. If you’re searching for a campground that prides in customer communication and professionalism, I do not recommend this place at all. Definitely will not be back.

While photos on website make it look nice it really is a rundown park and the spaces are not big rig friendly. It took us 20 mins for the guy to guide us into our spot and we only had a 40’ trailer. Weeds in our area and no picnic tables as there is no room for them and over priced for what you get! All employees were very nice!

We've stayed at Coyote Valley RV Park before and had a great experience, which makes this review especially disappointing.

This stay, our site (in the 140s) was overrun with ants. The infestation was so severe that we had to buy our own ant spray, lost well over $100 in food, and are now bringing ants home in our RV.

What was most frustrating wasn't just the ants—it was how the situation was handled. We were told that the 140 sites are "really a problem." Later, however, when speaking to the owner she claimed they weren't aware of an ant problem. Those two statements don't line up. We talked with a few of the long-term residents around us and they all have ant problems. The management seems to want to keep it quiet by intimidating long-term residents and staff.

When we asked for some reasonable accommodation, even just a refund for a couple of nights, there was no willingness to work with us. Instead, we were told the ants were probably already in our RV and were advised to Google how to get rid of them. By doing our own investigation with the people who were parked around us, obviously, this was a known problem and the owner was flat-out lying.

We weren't looking for a free vacation. We were looking for a business to stand behind its guests when something clearly went wrong. Even refunding one night would have shown good faith.

It's unfortunate because we've enjoyed staying here in the past. But after this experience, and the complete lack of customer service afterward, we can't recommend staying here until the ant and customer service issues are addressed.

Coyote Valley RV Resort is a well laid out, well kept place with a great staff. The grounds are nice. The facilities including the pool(s), laundry(s), and dog park(s) are super nice. Easy access to the Coyote Creek walking/biking paved path that goes for miles. Be sure to come into the park from the south, don't follow the GPS if it tells you to come in from the north and make a U-turn, instead go down the 101 to Morgan Hill and come back north. The park is safe. One thing about the park is over 85% of the residents are long term. We stayed there multiple times for a couple of weeks at a time. The many long term residents does make the park a great place for kids and pets and contributes to how well run and kept the park is. Everybody there is really nice.

We were stuck with a broken truck. These kind folks found their least expensive spot available to let us rent until our truck was finished. They even gave us rides to the clubhouse at the golf course, so we could have a night out. Great place, nice amenities. The staff are the shining stars here, treating everyone as if they were VIPs. Huge shout out to Paul. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay a little better.
