What Guests Are Saying

SkyPark Camp RV Resort is highly praised for its stunning views, well-maintained grounds, and clean bathroom facilities, making it a top choice for campers. The friendly staff and central location near Lake Arrowhead enhance the overall experience, offering easy access to hiking trails and local amenities. While some tent sites may present challenges due to inclines and limited availability, and the outdoor amenities could be improved, the overall atmosphere and cleanliness of the resort are significant positives.

Thai is one of the best RV parks I’ve been to. Very well maintained, clean and well landscaped. The views are stunning. Their toilets and showers are spotless. The whole place is a gem, cannot wait to be back. No pool or other amenities on site but there is so much to do in the area as it’s very close to Arrowhead.

Stayed at one of their tent sites during late October, starting on a Saturday and departing on the following Tuesday.

Special notes about the tent sites. Very few are available in comparison to the rv sites and the further tent sites are also downhill making bathroom trips in the night harder. The tent plots themselves are NOT sloped, but just having to walk up and down those inclines can be tedious. Just something to keep in mind.

On-site trailer rentals are available but are over priced in my opinion since none of those have their own bathrooms.

Bathroom facilities are fairly clean and well maintained (considering, once again it was an off season; only two of the five or six showers at the time had hot water issues but that was it) plus the showers themselves are free AND shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all provided. No charge on those either!

Laundry facilities are provided, no ironing boards. Just two washers and two driers. THESE DO require payment and laundry detergent and dryer sheets are not (normally) provided.

The fire pits are automatically lit up at around 6 pm daily and are a great spot to socialize and make smores.

One last warning about the tent sites at night; Jerusalem Crickets are a thing. They're not poisonous but their bites can sting and they're huge. About 2 or 3 inches, hard to miss even in the dark so just be sure your tents are zipped up enough that they can't fit through.

Great campground—centrally located, close to the village, and just a short hop from some solid hiking trails. Bathrooms were clean (a rare camping miracle), and the showers were warm and had great pressure—always a win after a day outdoors.

The sites have concrete pads, though some are more level than others—just part of the camping charm. The valley view was beautiful, and at night the stars really put on a show.

Every host we met was super friendly and full of great recommendations for food and libations around Lake Arrowhead. We’ll definitely be back for another SoCal mountain escape!

UNBELIEVEABLE!! At the very top of the San Bernardino Mountains. And I mean, at the very top! Elevation of 5,910 ft. Nestled in the mountainside with incredible views of San Bernardino. Beautiful landscaping. Amazing firepits for all to utilize. It's simply breathtaking! All along the winding road up are places to pull over and take in the scenery. Once you get closer to the top, there are little shops and markets and restaurants to experience. I recommend this drive alone, but if you need a place to RV. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We recently stayed in the Airstream at SkyPark. The camper was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

However, I was disappointed that the website didn’t show clear photos of the outdoor space. I booked Camper 6, which turned out to have the smallest outdoor lounging/dining area — not ideal when visiting with kids who brought outdoor toys. There just wasn’t enough room.

The outdoor chairs broke when we tried to move them, and they caused splinters for my children. The propane fire pit was a nice feature but kept going out and had to be relit constantly.

Overall, the indoor experience was great, but the outdoor space and amenities could definitely use some improvement — especially with better info on the booking site.
