I really hesitate to write a good review because I do not want this gem to turn into Lake Tahoe with the crowds. We LOVE this campground & the lake is absolutely perfect. Warmer than Tahoe water, crystal clear & so many other activities…hike, bike, walk to ice cream 🥳
Not to mention, the staff was so kind 🙏🏼
Can’t wait to go again 🩷
Yes, rocky beach, bring water shoes 👍🏻

Camping sites are spaced apart well and in a stunning setting. Bathrooms and showers are well-maintained. It is perfect for riding bikes and walking dogs.

Great campsite with super clean bathrooms, a private and peaceful campground, and incredibly friendly staff. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!
Just be aware that you may see or hear a bear around your tent.

Such a great campground. Really enjoyed our campsite- it was shady, clean and close to the bathrooms and a short walk to the lake.

Very nice spot - nice bathrooms, adequate showers. Saturday night seems to be large group party night, with parties extending much past quiet hours (say until midnight ish). Fine if that’s your thing but those people didn’t appreciate my kids at 7am.

Our first time here so impressed , Lake is Very beautiful, peaceful, private and Clean , we loved it!
Campsite is clean and well attended.
No cell phone service our carrier is Verizon , wifi signal was too weak so we were on SOS at campsite. If need to communicate with family or follow up with work, will need to keep in mind this issue. Hope this help, Thank you

Nice access to Fallen Leaf Lake. Site 165 is in bad condition, with missing asphalt with a bad grade. It is listed as 38 ft long, but is hardly usable for a trailer. Also the interior drives make it very challenging to access.
