What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground offers a beautiful setting with spacious, shaded sites and proximity to the river, making it ideal for hiking and outdoor activities. Many visitors appreciate the serene atmosphere and the campground's access to nearby amenities, such as the store and ranger programs. I'm not sure what their names are but the 3 female rangers in charge of the camp were the absolutely amazing. There aren't enough good things to say about them and they made my stay fantastic.

Campground was clean. Love they had ash disposal stations and the bathrooms were cleaned at regular intervals. Staff were friendly, and the grounds were in a perfect location.

The campground was ample, clean, and well maintained. The ranger talk on bats was a fun experience. The abundance of trails and sights made the trip memorable. I will be back.

the rangers at the campground were very friendly and eager to answer any questions. Showers and ice at the store made camping great

Love the campground overall. The other campers were generally well behaved and respectful. Unfortunately, the restrooms were in disrepair and seemed to be neglected.

In general, this is a nice campsite situated among trees in kings canyon. Good spot to hang out at if day hiking the area. However, every bathroom I tried had a plumbing issue and was out of order to some degree.

This is a beautiful campground. It's very clean and quiet. The sites are spacious so that you're not so close to your neighbor. We were informed that we were allowed to pick up any downed branches to use as firewood, a substantial savings over having to buy firewood. The nearby Cedar Village is very convenient for groceries, snack bar and showers.

Beautiful campground right next to the river in the heart of kings canyon. Cedar Grove lodge is also close by with a store. Flat campsite with trees for shade. Amazing hiking all around but pay attention for bears!
