Cottonwood Campground offers a stunning location for stargazing and has clean, well-maintained restroom facilities with running water. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful, quiet atmosphere and nearby hiking trails, making it a great spot for outdoor activities. Sites are nicely sizes, campground premises is very clean as is the bathroom, beautiful dessert views. A great place to get away from it all and enjoy day trips into the northern part of the park.

Excellent campground. Even when this campground is full, it is always a pleasant experience. We had clear skies 3 of the four nights and even saw the SpaceX launch which was amazing!

Well maintained camp site with a nice short hike nearby. Unfortunately, one of our campground neighbors kept their generator on for many hours during the day which disturbed the peace.

First time at Cottonwood. I thought it was great. Much less crowded than the rest of the park (downside is it is far from the sites) and it was easy to access on my drive from Arizona back to LA. Good sized sites with decent spacing, but nowhere too far from the restroom. Flush toilets and available water always a plus. I was in B15 which was about the most privacy one could get in the loop.
