My campsite didn’t have paved parking spot. It was a bit inconvenient. However, overall this was amazing campground.

Went for the Meteor Shower had a great time second night was cloudy but first night we saw quite a few good ones. Had a dust storm blow in for a little over an hour had to wait it out in the truck. Set up a sun shade above the tent worked perfectly. Made the hike to Mastodon peak right out of the campsite left around 5:30 AM at first light

We loved our stay at Cottonwood! Beautiful ,peaceful place, feeling close to nature and fantastic for stargazing. Nice restrooms and drinking water available. Friendly staff came around in the morning to ask how it was going which was nice. We would def come back, to be close to alone in the campground in the National Park and hearing coyotes at night was a fantastic experience and one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you!

Too bad I didn’t know better before booking and didn’t do enough research, since this was a spontaneous trip. I was camping in my car and didn’t expect the parking spot to be on the street rather than a typical back-in campsite. It was a little weird, but now I know better for next time to not choose the outer loop.
Overall, the amenities were great, and the campground was very quiet and clean. I really enjoyed my time here!

Frustrating to drive to the campground to find its reservation only. Only 3 other campers there. Had to drive to where we had cell coverage to make a reservation. Over $100 fee if you camped without a reservation.

The site was really nice and well secluded from neighbors. The bathrooms were in good condition. The reason why I don’t rate the location higher was that a garage truck came though the campground at around 5 in the morning and made constant very loud noise for about an hour. It was the banging of the dumpsters and the beeping of the truck backing up. I couldn’t believe how long it went on. It was my mother’s first time camping and I wish she could have woken up to a peaceful nature rather than loud city noises.

The women's restroom was closed and locked. The parking for most of the lots were on the street. There should be parking allowed on the camp site.
