Small sites but still worked fine for our 26' motorhome. Great scenery, though need to drive about 30 mi to see actual Joshua Trees. Close to a few walking trails that provided scenic views and education on the plant life and historical people of the area.

Family-friendly campsite. Well maintained. Big enough for 2-3 2-person tents and only a 15min drive to the I-10 highway. There's flushing toilet and sink. The best part is they keep a bottle of hand soap there for people to use. Very thoughtful!

Located just inside the southern entrance, it allows you to settle in before you begin your exploration.

A very nice campground. The campground was quiet and the site was level. Amenities were very nice. If in the area, I would stay here again.

This campground did the job, and I'm glad it had running water, as most of the sites in Joshua Tree other than Black Rock and this one do not, but it felt very bare bones in the sense that there was no soap in the bathroom, no counter space for toiletries, and not even lights. If you go in the dark you must bring a headlamp or a flashlight of some sort or else you'll be doing it all in the dark!
