This campground is very close to a fairly heavily trafficked road, which curves around it, so it is not the quietest as far as street noise goes. The nature trail around the campground is short, but includes an acorn grinding rock, and a climbing rock. Not all sites have level areas to pitch a tent.

The campground is well maintained and we had it almost entirely to ourselves, which was lovely. Lots of places to hike. Even with the 6am wake up call from a pack of coyotes outside of our tent, the whole experience was magical. The star gazing is the best I've ever experienced and I got some great time lapse videos and the amount of shooting stars was amazing to see. Absolutely breathtaking ❤️

The women's restroom was closed and locked. The parking for most of the lots were on the street. There should be parking allowed on the camp site.

The site was really nice and well secluded from neighbors. The bathrooms were in good condition. The reason why I don’t rate the location higher was that a garage truck came though the campground at around 5 in the morning and made constant very loud noise for about an hour. It was the banging of the dumpsters and the beeping of the truck backing up. I couldn’t believe how long it went on. It was my mother’s first time camping and I wish she could have woken up to a peaceful nature rather than loud city noises.

Frustrating to drive to the campground to find its reservation only. Only 3 other campers there. Had to drive to where we had cell coverage to make a reservation. Over $100 fee if you camped without a reservation.

Too bad I didn’t know better before booking and didn’t do enough research, since this was a spontaneous trip. I was camping in my car and didn’t expect the parking spot to be on the street rather than a typical back-in campsite. It was a little weird, but now I know better for next time to not choose the outer loop.
Overall, the amenities were great, and the campground was very quiet and clean. I really enjoyed my time here!
