Wonderful location. Great for stargazing, hiking on to the nearby trails, or just venturing out and scampering around on the rocks. Will definitely be back!

Great site and great park! All paved, easy walk to Jumbo Rocks and Skull Rock. Our 25 ft RV fit perfectly, this site is more private than most.

We went on the hottest day of the year. There were about 8 families in the whole boulder campground, so it was nice and quiet. One problem were the bees. They came out of nowhere when we put food on the table and they didn't leave until night came. Bees were everywhere. At the lookout point, we couldn't get out of our car. They swarmed our car as we drove up.
Otherwise we had a great time. The night sky was amazing.

Great location and all the amenities you need, other than a shower (at least that I could find). Beautiful rocks in the area and stars at night.

Wonderful hiking throughout the park. Recommend Ryan Mountain, Boyscout Trail and Arch Rock. The cholla cactus gardens at sunrise is spectacular.
There is no water, fuel, wood or anything other then well maintained latrines so bring the supplies you need. There is also no cell service (so peaceful....)
Kuddo's to the park officials and to all of the volunteers - thank you, thank you

So beautiful. Very cold at night, not the most private during the day & noisy neighbors but other than that it was amazing to see the stars & the Geminid meteor shower
