First time at your location, and had a great experience for our 2 day fishing tournament. Windy conditions aside, the hot showers were a pleasant addition to the overall experience.

Had a fantastic time at our spot. Daytime fishing and throwing the ball for our dog. Clean beach and camping areas. We happened to go on a full moon and it was lovely to see the moon all night over the lake. Nice and quiet also!
Great location!

Overall nice campground, would consider returning. The setting was more natural feeling than I anticipated for being close to town and on an artificial body of water. However, maintenance is lacking in regards to most items. Also needing to make a reservation online (even if it can be done at time of arrival) is annoying.

The Kyen campground will be a family summer trip for us and meets all needs. Clean sites, showers, flushable toilet's, swimming, fishing etc. We’re from the Bay Area so the Lake is relatively close.
I also want to thank Sattie from the park’s office. She’s been very helpful giving me advice and updates for booking in the last three years.
I recommend Lake and campground!

77 didn't have shade, but we were there for one night so it didn't bother us, there were some people who trashed the sites near us, and for some reason, someone decided that what they really wanted to do at 3am was operate a chainsaw. Great location, but maybe a little too accessible for my taste.

A ton of garbage and litter in the campsite, stuffed into tree stumps, all over the picnic table, just everywhere throughout the campsite and surrounding areas. Bathroom facilities were clean but there is no ventilation inside them so it is very hot inside. There were also A TON of mosquitos so make sure you pack bug spray and netting!!

Place was quiet, clean, lots of trees and peace. We camped near where a number of families came for day use lake time and we enjoyed that family atmosphere of the whole place.
Showers were great!
