The Aurora RV Park

We stopped for one night on the way south to SF, it’s a beautiful place to stop, lake view with a terrace and places to seat and relax, personal outdoor table with a fire pit, easy access to laundry (lake side part).
Please book in advance for lake side.

My husband and I stayed here for 8 months during a work assignment in the area with our 38-ft fifth wheel. Our site had plenty of room for both the RV and our truck, and it was right across from the water, which was a nice bonus.
The park is also pet friendly, which was important for us. They allow up to two dogs, and it worked well for our stay.
Considering this is Lake County, there was little to no riffraff, and we always felt comfortable. The manager, Mitzi, and her husband run the park and keep a tight ship. They were available when needed and clearly take pride in maintaining the park.
I know there are mixed reviews out there, but we were really happy with our stay and would absolutely stay here again without question.

Aurora is amazing the management is fantastic, Jaime and Mitzi, they work very well with each other to make sure everyone is happy!! I have been a month to month stay for 3 years and the park is very quiet, clean bathrooms, showers, great fishing and most of the time awesome people to meet. In California it gets dry during the summer and lush green in the winter, as well as beautiful fall colors. This is the best Rv park around the lake so the price is worth it. The management is very attentive when someone needs something done or w trying to make everyone happy which as we all know can be difficult at times but they handle it w a professional attitude and I have nothing bad to say at all. My fiancé and I stayed one night with two small dogs. We had a pleasant stay! We had a camper van and it was super easy to connect it to the water and electric facilities. We got there around 8pm so we weren’t able to check out their shop or food services. The bathrooms were clean and the general area as well. It was slow enough that they booked us with an empty spot on each side. It was quite through out the night and the views from spot #5 were amazing in the morning.
