About Boise Creek

Boise Creek Campground is nestled between Brush Mountain and Brannan Mountain in northern California's vast Six Rivers National Forest. The campground sits under a canopy of large Pacific madrone evergreen, Douglas fir and California bay trees, less than two miles from the small mountain town of Willow Creek, known as the Bigfoot capital of the world. Fishing, swimming and whitewater rafting are all close by in the popular Trinity River.

What Guests Are Saying

Boise Creek offers clean, spacious campsites with helpful hosts and beautiful nearby trails leading to a picturesque creek. The campground is well-maintained, with good facilities like picnic tables and outhouses. However, caution is needed due to the presence of poison oak and significant road noise from the nearby highway.

Clean, spacious campsites with a beautiful walk down a steep hill to the creek. The host was so nice, greeted us right away and even brought us cookies! Vault toilets but they were very clean. Can’t wait to come back.

This is a small campground, right by Highway 299. Downshifting semis wake you up all night, not very restful.

it did have the cleanest pit privies in the west, though.

in order to do anything except for one short hike, it's necessary to drive somewhere. I wouldn't stay there again.

We had an amazing stay! Really clean and the creek was absolutely gorgeous! It was a little of a walk to get there but it was stunning with waterfalls and the most refreshing water

-Camp site was clean and well kept.
-Our site, #5, was a smaller site.
-Big plus was the short but fairly steep trail to Willow Creek with beautiful boulders and water holes.
-Camp site is too close to the highway - so was a bit noisy.
