Boise Creek offers clean, spacious campsites with helpful hosts and beautiful nearby trails leading to a picturesque creek. The campground is well-maintained, with good facilities like picnic tables and outhouses. However, caution is needed due to the presence of poison oak and significant road noise from the nearby highway.

-Camp site was clean and well kept.
-Our site, #5, was a smaller site.
-Big plus was the short but fairly steep trail to Willow Creek with beautiful boulders and water holes.
-Camp site is too close to the highway - so was a bit noisy.

I stayed one night, 9/9/23-9/10/23. It's close to the road so quite loud, but a convenient location. Be aware there is poison oak in the area.

The campground hosts were very nice and suggested a short hike to the beautiful creek.
The NFS maintenance person (Jim) was very personable and helpful with an access/overhead clearance issue we found upon our arrival.
This campground has many low tree branches...less than 10 ft clearance.
Big rigs and 5th wheels should beware.
NFS needs to do some serious pruning to provide adequate headroom.
