What Guests Are Saying

Lake Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with clean facilities and friendly staff. Campsite 006 is highly recommended due to its elevated position and proximity to the lake, which is just a short walk away. However, campsites 005 and others near the restroom face issues with odor and noise, making them less desirable.

The campground was nice. There’s a table and fire pit at every camp. The lake is a pond, and there really isn’t much to offer. The restroom was clean. Wouldn’t return.
Zero cell service.

It was very dry when we went. Lake was low and there was evidence of a recent fire a few miles away. The site was well kept and the location was quiet. We ended up leaving early because it was too hot even though the site was well shaded.

Very quiet little campground very close to the lake. Unfortunately, due to COVID, the lake has not been stocked with fish making it hard to catch anything outside of small bluegill. The campground is about 15 mins out of Wrightwood which is a beautiful and friendly little town. Make sure to utilize the provided bear boxes as there are bears walking around in the area (you will see them as you camp).

We came here during 4th of July weekend. I was surprised how small this campground was (we counted about 10 or less campsites?) It was quiet and peaceful during this weekend. Up the road (en route to Wrightwood), you can find hikes, which we did, and there is a small grocery store in Wrightwood that had a good beer selection :). Our campground was on a tiny slope, so we kept sliding, however, it is pretty spacious and lots of beautiful trees surrounding you. We definitely will be back.
