Nice and clean campground and the ranger is so friendly

Good stop for one night. Clean restrooms, great shade from trees. The campsites are very close together though, with no trees between. The night we went, it was very loud. I enjoy hearing people have fun, but it was pretty obnoxious listening to everyone’s loud music competing late into the night while we were trying to enjoy nature.

Campground was nice. Very clean and bathrooms stayed well stocked and clean. We read there were showers and wifi, THIS IS NOT TRUE. Definitely bring your own camp shower and starlink if you need service/wifi. The whole area is a dead zone for cell service. Site 4, 10, & 13 are 1st come 1st serve. Everything else has to be reserved online through recreation.gov. There are also NO EV CHARGING STATIONS for your car. There isn't any electricity at any of the sites either. BRING YOUR BATTERY PACKS FULLY CHARGED.

I enjoyed camping at Mountain Oak camping grounds. The whole area was amazing. Camping there again in August with my family! ♥️

Enjoy every time we visit nice hidden gem,lake right next door, flush toilets,had some winds but tolerable, Taylor (host) was great, delivered wood to site and kept bathroom stocked and clean

Had a fabulous Memorial Day weekend. Sites were spread apart very far. Nights were quiet. Camp hosts and Mt High staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back next year!

Camphost was the nicest I think I've ever had. Just a beautiful spot and I love it right across from the lake. Everything was really perfect

Camping area and toilets are really clean, I would like to thank all employees for their service. Jackson lake is just walking distance away. You can grab your staff and go there for lake view picnic. I was only not satisfied with the width of the campsite. If there is a family with 4 children in the tent next to you, you can understand what I m saying. Maybe I felt uncomfortable because it was my first camping adventure on the camp site. If I go there again, I ll reserve 4 instead 5.

The campground was nice, very clean and has everything one might need like flush toilets, water spigot, dumpsters and firewood for sale. Each site has a table, bear proof container and a fire ring for cooking, personally, it wasn’t ideal for a casual sit around and stare at the fire campfire but it did feel safe and contained because of the tall double walls. Site 8 was steps away from the restrooms, water, dumpster and the camp host. There’s isn’t much privacy at this campsite but there are tall trees for some shade. The restrooms have lights all around and inside which is nice but was a little distracting at night when trying to star gaze. Overall I really enjoyed this campground for being a quick, easygoing camping experience.

Hidden gem of a campground. Across from Jackson Lake and near Big Pines/Wrightwood. Stayed for one night but wished it was longer. There are flush toilets that are clean and well maintained. Camp host is very kind, personable and helpful. We have sites 2-3 for a big group and enough space for 4 tents. Sites are well-spaces. I thought we were a little loud but walking around the camp loop, the noise stayed pretty contained. You will need a campfire permit, takes 10 minutes on the forest service website. There are spigots for running water that are technically potable, but bring a filter just in case.
