I really enjoyed this campground. The site I had was 111. It was a large site, fairly flat and a newer picnic table. The site had excellent views but on the downside was quite windy and the fire ring was too close to brush which should have been cleared by the campground staff. So I chose not to have a campfire as I didn’t want to start a forest fire. I will go back but I’ll bring my propane fire pit to avoid any problems.

Table Mountain campground is always an enjoyable experience. The camp host is very friendly, informative, and helpful. The sites and bathrooms are clean. The environment is pleasant. One of our favorite locations to camp.

This place used to be mostly a first come, first served campground. Several years ago they switched it up so that now 90% of the sites are “reserve only” campsites, making it much harder to get a spot. The campground is well maintained, but can fill up completely with reservations, even if it still looks half empty. Plan accordingly.

Super beginner friendly! We had an excellent time on site 44. Everything around the site was incredibly well maintained. Camp host was friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful site with spectacular views. Toilets were very clean and well maintained. This particular site is on the exposed side of the mountain so it can get windy up here. If you have ways to deal with that then this is a premier site to stay at.

Mountain Campground sign and continue to follow signs into the campground.
Table Mountain Campground is accessible via State Route 2, approximately 10 miles to the south, which connects to the Angeles Crest Highway. US Highway 395 is about 20 miles to the east.
