Table Mountain Campground receives high praise for its beautiful views, well-maintained facilities, and friendly camp hosts. Visitors enjoyed a variety of sites with ample space, cleanliness, and easy access to amenities, making it ideal for families and first-time campers. However, some sites can be quite windy, which may affect comfort, and cell reception is limited, so planning ahead is recommended.

Campsite attendant was professional and friendly. Campsite and bathrooms were well maintained and clean. Had a great time there, as usual. Can’t wait to come back!!

We camped at site 20 in the Broken Blade loop. Camped here with two kids (ages 6 and 2). Overall we had a great time.
Pros: Site 20 is a decent size. It's a bit of a downhill walk from your car to the campsite, but the campsite itself is pretty flat, and there are two flat areas to set up tents (and these areas are a safe distance from the fire pit and bear locker/picnic table). The center of the Broken Blade loop is a large, mostly flat area that was perfect for the kids to play without worrying about them getting hit by a car. The best feature is that Site 20 is very protected from the crazy winds this campground gets sometimes. We slept pretty well in our tent. Site 20 is very close the water faucet, but a bit far from the trash and toilets. The camp host Steve was very friendly and answered a lot of our questions.
I recommend visiting the nearby Big Pines Visitor Center. The volunteers/workers there are friendly and knowledgeable. They have information on nearby hikes and things to do, and have lots of taxidermy animals on display. Jim took a lot of time to teach my kids about the wildlife and plants in this area. We visited Gregory Lake (50 min drive) which is great for kids and Jackson Lake (10min drive) which was ok.
Cons: A couple of the neighboring sites are a bit close. We were there for three nights and only had neighbors next to us for one night, so it wasn't too bad. It's a bit of a walk to the bathrooms which can be annoying, especially at night. As early as 6am the sun comes into the campsite area, and by 8:30am the picnic table area was already getting pretty hot. However, the last day it was overcast and we enjoyed spending a lazy morning there. There wasn't much for hiking in this area with the little kids--especially since some of the easy trails were closed due to previous wildfires. Big Horn Mine and Mt Baden Powell are nearby for more experienced hikers.

I have to say, this was my first time camping, so I really didn’t know what to expect. We arrived at our campsite, took a few minutes to enjoy the beautiful view, and then immediately started setting up our tent. This campsite has some amazing panoramic views that made the experience even better.
We were lucky to have quiet neighbors at sites 111 and 112, which made for a peaceful stay. One thing to keep in mind is that once night falls, it gets completely pitch black, so come prepared. Our headlamps were incredibly useful and definitely a must-have.
The vault toilets were clean, although they had some mosquitoes. Overall, we had a great experience, and I’d definitely come back.

Love this campground and camp host are helpful and excellent. One star because site 40 was way too windy. Host warned us that the night before was windy so we were prepared. Didn't feel safe having a fire with gusty winds and didn't get much sleep with wind all night. Just a 5 to 10 min walk into the campground there was no wind. Maybe site 40 isn't always that windy but read a few other comments about wind as well. Great views but too windy.

Table Mountain is a very nice campground. It's well laid out, easy to access, and is a very short drive into Wrightwood for shopping or wondering through the shops. Site 17 is not a good site. It's small, and there's not a level spot to be found. There's no shade which was needed during my visit. I have a 24 ft. travel trailer that just barley fit with little room left over for my truck. This site would best be used for a tent as long has sloping terrain doesn't bother the setup. Campground was clean and the Camp Host was very nice. We've been at different sites on previous visits and had a much better time on the site. I'll not return to Site 17 again.
