What Guests Are Saying
Purgatoire Campground offers a serene and remote camping experience, surrounded by beautiful pine and aspen trees, and features well-maintained sites with bear-proof lockers and picnic tables. Mark, the camp host, is friendly and ensures cleanliness throughout the campground. While the vault toilets are a bit far and some sites may not accommodate larger RVs, the peaceful atmosphere, excellent hiking trails, and proximity to fishing and boating make it a highly enjoyable destination for nature lovers.

Mark, the camp host is awesome. The campground is a gem with access to a nearby trailhead, no side by sides allowed, and nearby to some lakes.

Beautiful campground. Clean bathrooms. The road wasn’t bad for a dirt road. I had no trouble towing my pop up.

Very nice wooded campsite, but toilet fairly far away. Bear-proof cabinet nice, but pack-in, pack out not so good. Some sites don't have areas for larger-sized tents. Extremely windy while we were there, not sure if that is often the case.
