We enjoyed staying at the rustic cabin. It was quite a hike getting there. The altitude is so high it makes it hard to hike very far without having to stop to rest. The cabin was well appointed with mattresses and sheets and pillows. It also had lots of cookware and fire for the wood stove.

We had a great visit at Fitton cabin. We were there bow hunting, our friends had the other cabin down the trail rented. We were not successful but we had a great time! My husband made the cute little curtains for the cabin too :) Enjoy your stay there.

Fitton Guard Station Cabin: My stay at the cabin was amazing. I am already planning my next visit.

I was looking for peace and solitude and I found that and more at Fitton Cabin. I was there for 3 day and only seen 3 people (2 The first day.) The cabin had some nice amenities. Beds, vault toilet, table and chairs as well as a front porch. The hike in and out was a little difficult with a full pack. ( I packed too much stuff) The placement of Fitton Cabin was stunning. Just a short walk to the stream for water, it has a fire pit. The best part was at night when. The night sky and stars was so beautiful that it was mesmerizing. I just cannot say enough about this cabin. Loved it.....
