We wish we could contact the campground hosts at open park as they were so helpful and they were not up when we left to go find out about our Tracker that had been sent to Gunnison via flat bed tow truck. If you can give us their names I would really appreciate it. we were in the site right behind them. They are from Louisiana and have been there for several years.

This is a wonderful campground - Baldy Loop is where we stayed - Site 07.
We were there 4 nights in mid July 2020. The campground was full all nights with many going and coming.
We tent camped and the site was very spacious, clean, well situated and close to vault toilets, water and trash dumpster - but not so close it ruined your experience.
The hosts Chuck & Thelma are great and keep their loop in fantastic shape.
Site 7 is great for all types of RVs (50 amp & 15 amp electrical on the electrical pedestal) and tent only camping. Nice mix of shade and sun - not very private as most of the other sites are close by - Site 6 is very close neighbor, but overall not an issue. We will be back!

Beautiful, clean campground with AMAZING camp hosts! Close to gold medal water for great fly fishing and lots of 4wd trails to explore.
