Sammie's Campground

Sammie’s campground was great to our family. We had the pleasure to stay for 7 months. Sandra is wonderful. She takes great care of this place. The bathhouse is older yet ALWAYS clean. The washer and dryer work wonders. Very family friendly and dog friendly. Reasonable price for monthly stays. I would return in a heartbeat! There is a church right there on the property which is AMAZING. I highly recommend this campground.

The views from this park are breathtaking! We came here to beat the heat and the weather here is perfect. We’ve decided to stay an extra month and quite honestly don’t want to leave. Ha! We most definitely will make this our summer home. The facilities are always clean and the owner is the kindest!! Stay here…. You won’t regret it!

Big wide spaces, unless you are 50 amp in the middle. We are 30amp. We had a nice shade tree, a huge yard and a super level spot. We even had grass for the dogs. There is a restaurant open 7 to 7 everyday but Monday with good affordable food. Very quiet park with great views. The owner is super nice and very accommodating. Best value in 150 miles. The best food in town! My wife and I just went to one of our favorite towns in Colorado...La Veta. They just had their grand opening and wow! What a down home crowd. Their hospitality was so genuine, the service was incredible and the live music was great. Do yourself a favor and make sure you visit the restaurant and bar you won’t forget it. It was the highlight of our trip!!!
