Tamarack Lodge & Glamping Resort CT

This is one of those special places that makes you feel like you're at home when you're there. I had the brown sugar glaze salmon it was phenomenal. mashed potatoes and broccoli for a side or both delicious. And they're broccoli is incredible! And all the hundreds of reviews that I've done I never once thought I would take so much time to rave about a establishments broccoli but the broccoli at tamarac Lodge is one of a kind! it is the best broccoli in the world and until you try it yourself you will not understand just how incredible it is. on top of the great food and drinks I was there to see your friends band play and the music was great the atmosphere was fun the lighting was dark but still easy enough to see and the entire place was it having a great time. This is the type of place you look forward to going to! I know I cannot wait to come back and have that broccoli again lol

I co-hosted a Happily Ever After reception for my daughter and new son in law at Tamarack Lodge. We had about 100 people, drinks and apps, a family style dinner, and a band on the terrace with lots of dancing - even in the rain. Steph and Austin were fantastic to work with both during the planning phase and of course the day of the party. Many thanks to George - the food was amazing (and won’t soon be forgotten by anyone) and the party was everything we wanted it to be! This place is beautiful and rustic and I would 100% recommend these wonderful people for any kind of gathering. Thank you Tamarack crew!

I held my daughter’s baby shower at this rustic gem of a venue, and it was nothing short of perfect. The natural charm, warm wooden beams, and cozy ambiance created such an inviting atmosphere. Every little detail—from the vintage décor to the twinkling lights—added to the fairytale feel.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The setting itself, surrounded by nature, made for stunning photo ops and an overall unforgettable experience. Whether you’re planning a wedding, family gathering, or any special occasion, this place is a dream come true.

Our 35th High School reunion was held here and we had a great time. The lodge was just the right size. Ended up being a little hotter than originally expected, so the whole event was moved inside. They had a nice little bar and the band set up in the back room. We were served dinner and the food was pretty good. The place has a very nice rustic look and feel. Going outside for our class picture you could see it's fairly pretty in a wooded area. They were building some cabins while we were there, which looked very nice.

We held our 20th high school reunion here and it was amazing! Val was awesome to work with every step of the way. She helped plan an event within our budget and really took the time to help us plan the perfect event. She was accomodating and was always available ro answer questions and give suggestions to help ensure the success of our event. We enjoyed a pasta bar (dinner) and chicken cordon bleu bites (appetizer)and the food was excellent! The staff was also great- friendly and super helpful. I would highly recommend Tamarack (and Val and her team) for any event!!
