Peace River Oaks

Peace River Oaks is absolutely beautiful. Our RV site was spacious and private—not cramped like many campgrounds these days. Being right on the Peace River makes it perfect for paddling, fossil hunting, and day hikes. Kids were running and playing - not tied to their cell phones or TVs. My dogs were welcome, and all the pet parents seemed quite responsible. Evenings by the campfire on Friday and Saturday, listening to fantastic live music, were the perfect finishing touch to a truly peaceful stay. I even caught a glimpse of one of the glamping rooms during turnover—beautifully done. We will definitely be back!

This campground is a gem. The staff are super friendly and available. The park is beautiful and well laid out where campsites are premium (concrete pad to park and pad for picnic table and chairs) and very spacious. Each site provides chairs, fire pit and a picnic table. You are in nature. I love to watch birds and I was not disappointed. There are hiking trails. We spent a couple weeks and i have never felt more relaxed. Also worth noting, this campground is about half mile off Hwy 17 so you don't have traffic noise. It's quiet so you can enjoy the sounds of nature. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Peace River Oaks campground for 5 nights last week. Daniel checked us in and took great care of us throughout our stay, including helping us figure out a BBQ dinner and how/when to attend some events at the campground over the weekend. The atmosphere is laid back, the trees are spectacular and there are a ton of nice and fun amenities. I spent about 2 hours trail biking and got up close and personal with a raccoon, a hawk and an owl! There are tons of family activities, live music on the weekends, sometimes movies on the lawn and a really nice space for everyone to hang out with things like a firepit, putt putt, ping pong, horseshoes, etc. Oh, and really nice full bathrooms available! If I had to say something critical, it would be that they could use more lights around the family area since its very close to unusable at/after dark and some mosquito repellant options like candles or such. Highly recommend!

Great Vacation Spot!
We had a wonderful stay at Peace River Oaks! The property was very clean and well maintained, which made our vacation even more enjoyable. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and it was especially great for kids with lots for them to do.
It’s also pet friendly, which was a huge plus for us. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
Overall, it’s a great place for a family vacation, and we would definitely come back again!

We recently made a trip to peace river oaks with a group of 9 people. From booking to checking in Daniel was a great help making the experience very easy from start to Finnish. The camp ground is great very clean and quiet. Great for a weekend get away with family or friends. Definitely looking forward to booking another trip soon. Will recommend to others!
