Sun Retreats Ocala Orange Lake

We had a paint party here and the club house was awesome. The people were very friendly and the property was very clean and beautiful. Can't wait for our next event.

I am a rv technician that services all parks in Florida. The 200 yr old trees everywhere says it’s safe. Golf course and let’s just say this, rent a golf cart for 2 weeks just to find all the stuff you have 24/7. From 13 lb bass fishing off orange lake I could write a book about this place. People will not let you set around and be depressed. Tooo many daily events keep everyone like family

Camping sites are close together. Nice restaurant and gymn. Duck hunting season on the lake. Air boats on the lake. Golf cars to rent.

I can only give feedback on the resort area I did not rent any of their units or going to the clubhouse or the restaurant I went and visited a friend and whenever I got there it was dusk and everybody had their lights on and their Christmas lights on and whenever I went to leave around 9:10 p.m. I was backing out of the parking slip of his RV and it was so dark there are no lighting there are no reflectors on the streets no straight lines so you didn't know if you're out of the parking slot in the street whenever it turns dark it's literally dark whenever everybody turns their lights out this place needs to have a hell of a lot more lighting and some markings on the roads but due to this happening I ended up backing into a lady's bumper thank goodness no one was hurt but still if there would have been better lighting then I could have known that I was in the street and the street is so little it like literally fits an RV and there's no side you going to somebody's yard literally run off the street and the daylight I could see that they are building this big huge water park slide thing and whenever I got there the night before I didn't even see that because there was no lighting but on the main road going into the RV park about every other tree is a light at the base of the tree shining up the tree instead of shining where the roads at anyway go there during the day Make sure you leave before dark if not have some major flashlights to hang out the windows so you can see where you're going because even your car lights aren't bright enough just saying

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! This is off season and not full by any means. When we got here we pulled into our reservation camp spot. Then I walked to the office to check in. Mind you it says “welcome center” on the sign - not “check in”! Then I was told that since I didn’t pay an extra $30 to hold and confirm my reservation, we needed to move. The office lady didn’t even look to see if there was another camper coming in tonight in the spot we reserved- just cold and not empathetic- YOU HAVE TO MOVE!!!! What a SCAM!!!! Not only that but thus place doesn’t very up kept! AND- Streets are flooding and it is only a typical afternoon Florida rain!!!!!! Don’t stop here.
