Sonrise Palms RV Park

If you plan to stay 30 days or longer this place is fine. For those who plan to stay for less then 30 days this is a horrible place. They book you into a back in full hook up site then when you get there they place you in a overflow pull thru site that is about 15ft wide. You will not be able to put your awning out, if you and neighbor have slides out you could pass condiments to each other. When I complained about the site we were given and what my confirmation receipt said they only said, no refunds. They claim they don't have overflow sites that they put everyone on, it SAYS IT ON THERE MAP!
Everyone we spoke to were very mad about this bait and switch happening at Sonrise palms, they lie right to your face and do not care about what your receipt says.
This is a good sam park as well as AAA Approved, they obviously only show these organizations the back in sites but fail to show them where they put all others who book for less then 30 days. Several campers including myself plan to advise good sam about these deceitful practices and hope they drop there affiliation with Sonrise palms.

Coming to the end of our 2 month stay here just wanted to write a quick review for this place.It is a very nice,well kept campground with a pool,rec room,laundry,pickle ball ct and dog park.All staff have been polite and on top all maintenance.The sites are nice and roomy for a small to medium Rv like ours but they do have bigger pull throughs for large coaches We have not experienced any bad / sewage smells since we have been here so it has been fixed or prior comments on this subject from past reviews are non factual.5 minutes from 95 so super convenient and affordable for short or long term stay.Indian river is about 10 minutes away with boat ramp if that's your thing.Cocoa beach is about 20.I would reccomend to anyone and thanks to the staff and owners for a great stay!

Basically on 95, making it noisy. Other than that its clean and nice.

Loved staying there. Friendly, clean, and just a relaxing experience. The best part is they are dog friendly. Nice big and clean dog park on site. Right next to a beautiful pond.

We reserved a site for the month of December here based on Good Sam 9-9-9 rating. We will not be using Good Sam ratings any longer. The staff here were great. The maintenance people and the office people were very friendly and helpful. The reason for the 3 star rating was the almost constant sewer smell from the town treatment station just outside the campground. The smell made it very undesirable to sit out side at all. The campground also advertises as pet friendly. Their idea of pet friendly is to keep your dog on a 6 foot leash at all times. First time without pet on a leash is a one time warning. 2nd time and you are asked to leave the campground and there is no refund. We will not be returning and will not be using Good Sam ratings any longer either. We will use individual reviews like this one to make our choices.
