Lake Oklawaha Resort

Clean and great location. It is along side a HOA housing area. It is well maintained and quiet and a great location if you want to enjoy the Ocala National Forest. There is no WiFi or store. The closest store is about 10+ miles away. (Dollar General Market) It's really a great place if ya just want to get away from it all. Large pool which is nice but it could be cleaned a little more/better. All in all, I will definitely go back.

To read reviews and then what we experienced are completely different. We camped for the weekend on a full hook up grass site. Gentlemen met us at the gate and took us to our site. Really nice and said someone would be by later to check on us. No one came by but no biggie. We were settling in and thought we would go by the office in the morning to ask the questions we had. The office is not open and it doesn’t appear to have been open anytime soon. No one to ask about the beach area, renting kayaks, the trail system, fishing etc. After some investigation, there is no “sandy beach area” and we could not find any access to the lake. No kayak rental either. The access to the ATV trails is the best thing this place has going. The pool is huge could stand some cleaning but decent area. You can tell this was once a KOA and was nice at some point. They have let the grounds go. Not much upkeep and no one on property helping guest.

I'll be up front and say when we 1st got here it was not what we expected. But after being here for a few days it is wonderful! Carissa escorted us to our site. Beautiful view of the lake. Clean grounds and very informative. She is the BEST!!! Large pool, easy access. We came here to ride the Ocala National Forest and this is a perfect spot. No distractions just a great place to come, relax,unwind and enjoy. There is no store here. Or WIFI (which is actually good cause ya spend time with PEOPLE) so be sure to bring what ya need but it is an awesome campground and location.

Probably the nicest RV park in all Florida. I love coming with family and friends for some quality time. It's quiet, clean, safe and also has access to nature trails.

I had the best time camping and staying at this campsite with my husband, Jay Ablan. The atmosphere was peaceful, the views were beautiful, and it was the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy nature together. We made amazing memories and can’t wait to come back!
