Sun Resorts & Residences Ft. Myers Beach (Age Restricted 55+)

We averaged $21 / night with our Passport America discount ($42 without) over 4 nights for W/E50/S for our sunny, concrete, pull though space. The space was barely large enough for our motorhome & car, the roads very smooth pavement and easy to navigate. Other sites are nearby and the site required several boards to level our motorhome. We would stay here again. This location is less than 10 minutes to ot Myes beach and 15 minutes to Sanibel Island.

BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING. It says on the website that kids are welcome, but when you go into the office to rent out a lot, they tell you right in your face that it is a 55+ community and kids are not welcome to stay. If you are a family looking for an RV park, this place is not for you.

An awesome place to spend the winter. Residents are friendly and the staff excellent and helpful. There are many activities to attend including dining and dancing every few weeks. Here is a quote from one of my friends. "If you are bored here you are doing it wrong. We plan to return next year.

We've been here in our motorhome for a month. Construction is now at a minimum and we had no disruption from what was going on. It's a nice park with friendly staff and neighbors. It's gated with a 24 hr attendant.

There is a bit of mid or lack of communication or information. We were here a week before we found out we could use the gym and pool at their adjoining resort property. I do wish they had a couple of hot tubs, especially during cooler weather.

There is an issue with speeding cars that really needs to be addressed especially on the small road that years into the clubhouse/pool parking areas. There are no mph signs between the entrance and the clubhouse and nobody stops as at the stop signs.

Landscaping and maintenance seemed good. They also had a calendar of events going, including meals, dances, live bands and various hobbies.

There are a number of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the resort and you can ride your bikes to town or to the beach areas.

Have a annual site here. Priced well. Good park. Trying to come back from hurricanes but over all good place.
