Moonshine Acres RV Park

Very well laid out campground. All sites are spaced nicely so nobody is on top of each other. Full hookups worked perfectly. Site including firing was clean of debris. Lots of shaded sites. Office and store are modern and inviting. Game room and bathrooms are very nice.

This place is amazing.. We go every year for memorial day and go to the springs. Ryan has good team to assist with everything you need from check in to check out. Tina is the best and always on point in the office and is the glue that keeps it all running. She's always friendly and greets us with a smile every year. Cant wait to get back up there.

I've spent 2 winters at Moonshine Acres and what an amazing place!! Awesome pull-thrus under the beautifully oak trees and several back-ins. Great place to spend a weekend, a month, or all winter!! Being full-time for the past 8 years, good management is a must and Moonshine delivers! Ms Tina is a fantastic manager who focuses on YOU having a great stay. Whatever you might want or need, she'll make it happen. I'll definitely return to this quiet peaceful park!!

Visited in March 2026 and stayed in one of the glamping tents. Tent is in decent enough shape, staff is diligent in cleaning the bathrooms which is much appreciated as some visitors treat the bathrooms quite poorly. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
However, if staying in these glamping tents you will hear a LOT of noise at all hours of the night. The highway is close by and there is much more traffic than I expected, also very loud dirt bikers and 4 wheelers close by. Bring earplugs! This is not a peaceful serene setting. Stayed Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and awoke Friday morning to the sound of a lot of heavy equipment clearing land literally right next to our tent. I don’t have any sense of how often this happens or how often the noise is general is so bad, could have just been bad timing, don’t know.
Location is close to the springs, so that’s nice. There are some activities in the campsite you can take advantage of.
Yet the noise makes this place a bit problematic.

Smaller campground, sites are crushed stone with picnic tables. Some sites are a bit uneven so you may need additional blocks. Road noise from trucks on the highway can be a challenge but otherwise the space is quiet. Its very convenient to the Springs and visiting our family in the area. We've stayed here multiple times over the past 2 years and will return!
