Salt Springs Recreational Area Campgrounds are one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The sites are large and pretty level with a mixture of shade and sun . The springs are beautiful. The restrooms and showers are cleaned many times per day and the showers have warm/hot water and great water pressure. All of the staff that we have encountered have been very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back next year.

The Salt Springs campground is an excellent place to stay while visiting the springs. Particularly helpful is that there are both reserved and first come first serve camp sites.

Gorgeous campsites under live oaks (some with water, some not so check that), great bathrooms & access to the gorgeous water - great base to have while exploring this amazing Ocala National forest - we’ll be back (& we were there early March). Great weather!

The camping is second to none, and we made new friends! The grounds are extremely clean, and the sites are some of the bests I have come across throughout the country. The campground has everything you need, and it is surrounded by some of the most beautiful areas within Florida. I recommend this wonderful and relaxing spot to everyone! Oh, our Plott Hound loved it too!

This park is one of the best we have ever camped at. All of the sites are large and I would say most of them are level. Restrooms and showers were kept very clean. I was very impressed.

Bring a snorkel and mask because swimming in the springs is awesome! It’s an easy bike ride in the park to the springs from the rv campground.
The dollar store nearby is above average I. Food selection.
The sites are done very well with full hook ups.
