Salt Springs has a new vendor running the Springs. The good news is that the campground experience is just as good if not better than previous years. The bathrooms have had some refurbishing. Landscaping at the Springs while p4obably needed will crowd sunbathers together on busy days. The grounds are cleaned and looked after more frequently. The concrete teps, which are the only entrance into the Springs itself are still slippery with algae, but attention to keeping them clean and clear of debris is improved. (Of course, westerly blowing winds will bring fresh batches of leaves and twigs into the Springs area as it did on our last day of the 5-night stay. Can"t be helped until the wind direction changes.)

It was good to see some improvements at the site. The road was finally graded and additional water spigots were added.
I also like that the tent sites can now be reserved.
I don't like that access to the water in the Fishing Area has been blocked with a fence. If this is permanent some fishing docks or something need to be constructed.

Always a fun place to camp. The sites are paved, level and have great hook-ups. The park is fairly well maintained. The spring is fun for snorkeling and swimming. And, in September mid-week, it is not very crowded. The new plantings surrounding the spring are great for butterfly watching. The restrooms are a bit tired and could use a good deep cleaning. Park staff is friendly and helpful.

Not crowded, had a shady site. The staff were friendly especially Gabby the person that checked us in. The current contract owners have upgraded the place in numerous ways. All new picnic tables, spotless bathrooms, and the maintenance area was cleaned up too.

Beautiful little spring deep in the Ocala Forest. The camp ground is small but perfectly maintained with everything one would need/expect. The sites are very open to each other so there is not much privacy but it’s so cute and clean that it doesn’t matter!

Previous company that maintained park kept it up better. Area around depression that runs thru campground needed weeding. The staff didn’t check through day & early evening. Rarely saw anyone. Plus a staff member who cleaned restrooms had her radio on golf cart blasting. Totally unnecessary. This company could do alot better.
