Beautiful walk. This is a cow pasture. Lots of deer. Red trail is marked well. White is not and does not match all trails map. There is a designated camp area.

We loved this trail! The blaze is easy to follow. Very diverse area with pasture, planted pines, hardwood hammocks and live oaks. You can hike a 2 mile loop or take R-W-R for over a 4 mile loop. There were cows grazing in pasture throughout, beautiful to stop and watch.

This St.John's River Water Management District restoration area land tract is located in a very rural, quiet and undeveloped area. The drive back to it's location is beautiful and relaxing. There's ample parking and the lot and access road are well maintained. The entrance gate to the hiking area must be kept closed to keep the cows in. Within about 10 minutes of hiking, we encountered a group of cows with their babies. It was a lovely experience. Just be mindful of the "cow pies". If a solitary and quiet walk in the country is what you're after then look no further.

Great for a short hike or horseback riding. From the trail head, a short spur leads you to two loops, one blazed white the other red. You can take them together as a figure 8 for about 5 total miles. The trails are about 70% shaded with few open areas along pine groves. Since you share the area with cattle stock, be sure to leave gates closed. You might come across blown over trees obstructing the trail, but otherwise an easy nature walk or hike.

The hidden gem of the Orange Creek Restoration areas. Two loop trails totaling 8+ miles. Old growth live oaks, ponds, pine grasslands. Nice level trails. There is a group camping area in the center available by reservation.
