The pictures don’t tell the true story of this “resort.” I’m giving it 2 stars because they did issue me a full refund without any hassle. The only negative part of that process was the woman who returned my call to get my card information—she was not very friendly. The night manager, however, was understanding and handled the situation professionally.
We arrived after the office had closed, but our check-in packet was easy to find. As we made our way to the back of the campground, it became apparent that the park is occupied primarily by full-time residents, many of whom appeared to have no restrictions on what could be stored in their “front yards.”
The roads are very narrow, and when we reached our assigned site, a golf cart and a truck were blocking access. During the reservation process, you’re asked for details about your RV, including its length and the number of slide-outs. There is simply no way our 34-foot camper could have fit into that site. Even if we had located the owners and asked them to move their vehicles, there still wasn’t enough room to extend our slide-outs without hitting the neighboring campsite’s canopy.
I noticed several recent reviews mentioning that the campground has improved under new management. If this is the cleaned-up version, I can only imagine what it looked like before. I wish I had taken more photos, but I only managed to get a couple of the site we were assigned.
The pool and pickleball courts did look nice, but unfortunately those amenities don’t make up for the overcrowded sites, poor layout, and lack of upkeep throughout the areas occupied by long-term residents.

If I could ever express a reason not to come here, this would be one. Not only were the residents unwelcoming to visitors, but we had to move our camper three different times due to electrical issues. On top of that, there were off-duty staff members over-managing the pool area and creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for guests trying to enjoy their weekend.
To make matters worse, there was hostile and threatening behavior at the bar. I believe her name was Cam, and she was screaming at guests while everyone was simply trying to relax and have a good time.
The staff was obnoxious, unprofessional, and the environment felt unsafe for guests. Extremely disappointing experience overall.

We took our RV here for the first time and reserved spot 15D on the waterfront. Our experience was amazing—very peaceful, with nothing but the sound of birds, exactly what we were looking for to relax and enjoy nature. Watching the sunset from the deck behind our RV was absolutely priceless.
The neighbors were very friendly and kind, which made the stay even better. The campground offers great amenities, including a clubhouse, pool, boat ramp, ice machines (for a small fee), onsite gas refill, and even a restaurant. They also have activities every day, which is a great bonus.
The ladies in the office were very welcoming and helpful.
Overall, this campground exceeded our expectations for a quiet getaway. It will definitely be our go-to spot for a few days of relaxation!

I have camped at this campground for over five years. It is the best Camp Ground I have ever camped in with numerous amenities. The campground has two pools and a splash pad for kids. A pickle ball court, a marina/bar that serves the best food I have ever tasted and ice cold spirits to drink. A boat ramp and dock space, so bring your boat. It also has a laundry room with newer washers and dryers. I’m very excited to call this Camp Ground my home. The staff takes very good care of all of us. Nice friendly staff that keep the Park looking beautiful. Tony M

I recently stayed at Nature’s Resort Campground in Homosassa, FL, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The property is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers truly scenic views that make it easy to relax and unwind.
One of my favorite parts was having two pools to choose from—both well-maintained and perfect for cooling off. The marina area is another highlight, with a great bar and restaurant that adds to the overall laid-back, vacation vibe.
There’s always something going on here, with events happening pretty much every day, so it never feels boring. If you’re into activities, the pickleball courts are a great bonus and a fun way to stay active.
What really stood out to me was how much effort the staff puts into maintaining the property. You can tell they’re constantly working on upkeep and cleaning, which makes a big difference in the overall experience.
f you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, fun activities, and a welcoming atmosphere, this campground is definitely worth a visit!
