Blue Ocean Yacht Charters

We had a great time on my bachelorette trip on the SMACK through Blue Ocean Yacht Charters. Booking through Kathy Guthman was a breeze, she always communicated clearly and made the process easy. Elizabeth was flexible with checking us in and clearly gave us the rundown of the boat when we got there. There was 10 of us and while the rooms/bathrooms aren’t very big, we all made due just fine. We couldn’t figure out how to use the oven or stove top and Elizabeth quickly came to show us and to help us. Captain Grant and Arthur were awesome on our boating excursion. Overall, a 10/10 time and highly recommend!

Kathy was absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. She made the entire booking process seamless and handled everything from helping us choose the perfect boat for our group size and budget to coordinating an excellent captain. Captain Jason and his deckhand Shane were knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. This was by far the most fun and safest boat rental experience I have ever had. Highly recommend.

Our cruise on the Wanda Jean was excellent. Grant and Ariana were friendly and skillful. Beautiful 30’ cat with very comfortable seating and nice bathroom. Snorkeling wasn’t much but we did 30 minutes and enjoyed it.

My entire family and cousin had a wonderful time on SMACK! Everything was perfect from the beginning starting with Kathy during the booking process, along with Elizabeth and Heather who checked us in and finally Captain Jason who took us to watch the Offshore Racing Championships. The boat is in excellent condition and has plenty of room to live comfortably while onboard. The rear of the boat has ample space to sit and relax or dine outside. The front is excellent for sightseeing and viewing the races. We especially enjoyed the upper deck for nighttime stargazing and conversation. Finally, we really enjoyed using the amenities at The Perry Hotel and Marina. Johnny, the concierge is extremely helpful with golf cart rentals and restaurant recommendations. I would highly recommend Blue Ocean Charters and SMACK!

My wife and I charted with Blue Ocean to celebrate her birthday this year and I can't say enough positive things about our trip! The team of Tonia, Elizabeth, Moose, and Tim all worked very hard during our stay to communicate and make our trip as enjoyable as possible. We booked the sailing vessel Somewhere for 5 nights, and it did not disappoint. This beautiful, clean, and capable sailboat exceeded our expectations from start to finish.

The Perry Marina was spectacular. Fantastic restaurants which include everything from live music with a full band (complete with horn section), to more laid back taco and oyster bar options. The pools on property looked very nice as well.

We took a 48 hour excursion with Captain Jason and his First Mate Drew who were extremely knowledgeable and enjoyable companions for our journey. Captain Jason explained all of the exciting places that we could explore and activities we could pursue. He kept a constant eye on the ever changing weather and sea conditions to be sure that we would be as safe and comfortable as possible the entire time. I highly recommend requesting Jason and Drew for your time on the water!
