Good Vibes,
I’ve lived at Sunshine RV Resort 3+ years and during a period of transition, and while there have been a few bumps along the way, I’ve seen a sincere effort from the new management and team members to improve the community.
From my experience, the staff has been approachable and willing to listen when concerns are brought to their attention. No place is perfect, but I’ve noticed positive changes and a commitment to making the resort a better place to live.
One of the things I enjoy most is the friendly community and the peaceful atmosphere. The location is convenient, and it’s nice to see ongoing efforts to improve the property.
If you’re reading reviews while deciding whether to stay here, I’d encourage you to visit and see the resort for yourself. My experience has been positive, and I’m optimistic about the direction the community is heading. I look forward to seeing the continued improvements.

Management fired one of the office workers for not cancelling ALL the RV and camper reservations for next year so if you have a reservation for here next year I would check to see if you still have it. They also fired one of the maintenance workers for backing up the office worker that didn't want to cancel all the reservations. So this park has one maintenance worker that barley knows the job and 1 office worker that is extremely rude to residents I don't recommend coming here or renting any of their properties (properties are island community properties) be careful if you do rent here don't expect the office worker Maxine to answer any of your questions and if anything in a property you rent from them goes out don't expect a quick fix or a fix at all you'll probably have to do it yourself with 0 compensation. Honestly if I could give 0 stars a would I will not be returning

Five stars, no question. Sunshine RV Resort was one of the best places we stayed during our time traveling around Florida. We stayed there on and off for about four months, and every single time we came back it felt welcoming, clean, and comfortable.
The park itself is spotless, and you can tell it’s well cared for. The laundry room was large and consistently clean (which is honestly a big deal when you’re living the RV life). The pool was heated and always enjoyable, and the staff and residents were some of the nicest, most accommodating people we’ve met on the road. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made it feel like a community instead of just a place to park.
One of the biggest highlights is how spacious the park is. So many RV parks in the area are cramped and stressful to navigate, but Sunshine has plenty of room. We had no issues getting in and out with our 40-foot fifth wheel, which says a lot. No tight turns, no anxiety, no “hold your breath and pray” moments.
We will absolutely be back and would recommend Sunshine RV Resort to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and truly welcoming place to stay in Florida.

Honestly if I could give no stars I would absolutely WORST place to stay rent is more than average in the area there's commons fees they don't even tell you about when you first move in. Staff are rude especially Maxine she is the park manager and is the RUDEST person on this earth. If I were you I would definitely go to sun and lakes or lake placid campground they have nice staff and no hidden fees or judgy people rent is decent there too. they kicked out a small family with a baby because they wouldn't pay them (yes they worked for the park and because the park didn't pay them and they got kicked out). The staff that is nice get treated badly by the higher up staff. They will tell you something is ok to do then turn around and charge you a $100 violation fee without warning
All thoes other reviews you see are before they changed everything about the park and highered all new staff

We lived there for a few years and it wasn’t that bad at the beginning. But since the new management has come they are just the WORST. DO NOT GO TO THIS PARK. The fees are way too overpriced compared to the quality of the park and their services. The water’s quality is extremely low there’s always a precautionary notices about it. The common pool had black mold in it but they don’t want the people to know about it. The management crew Treena and Maxine are incompetent, rude, hostile and not helpful at all. They come up with random rules (like do not leave your hose on your property or cut your grass again and again) and then charge you $100 fine without even noticing you first. They charge these fines like candy. They don’t care about anything just collect fines from everyone. This park is definitely NOT A GOOD PLACE to live or camping. I strongly recommend to avoid it.
