Wilderness Shores Ranch & Campground

Let me start by saying I would not have booked here if it was not for Lorraine answering my phone call at 6pm when I called to see how the campground was. Knowing it was close to closing time she explained everything to me and made me feel so comfortable booking here. We did not like the campground we were at and wanted something better. Our entire experience here was amazing and it was all because of her. This place is beautiful but she made us feel at home. We would come back just because of Lorraine. (The free roaming animals help too).

Me and my gf came here for a camping experience and wow we had a blast. The animals look well taken care off. The lake views were beautiful. We were able to feed the animals and spend as much time as we wanted with them. Lorraine was amazing. She made sure we were well to taken care off the whole time and made our trip so much more fun! She deserves a raise and you can tell she loves what she does. We will definitely be coming back.

Had a great time checking this place out over Valentine’s Day weekend. We chose to stay in the woods area with full hookups, we brought our e-bikes- there were so many trails and they have tons of property to explore. The animals were so fun to watch, pet and feed. The facilities were clean and fairly modern. Showers are hot! Great fishing!

We stayed here for 4 days in one of the rental campers. It was cute and decorated really pretty. The campground was cool as you could feed and pet the longhorns and goats. You could even book an atv ride and other things. So many different things to do. The manager, Cara, is amazing and very helpful. Cheryl kept the bathrooms clean and the rental camper was clean as well. Would really recommend this place for the experience and hospitality.

An amazing experience all around. The primitive camping further down was exactly what we wanted. Came for our brothers birthday and we're able to have everything we needed and more. Fishing was great, caught bass every day. Check in was super simple asking with finding the locations of the bath house, tent camping areas and rv parking. The dump station was easy access. The free ranging long horns and goats were awesome to see later in the day wandering right by the camp site. Highly recommend and will return!
