Sun Outdoors Marathon

We had a very cute park model right on the ocean with pelicans going by continually. The staff/owners here were super helpful. It was a very clean and quiet park, but lots of friendly people staying there.

Terrible experience, checked in to find toilet water leaking on bathroom floor, plenty of hair and stains on the supposedly clean sheets, and the general condition of room not clean at all. Additionally we had been booked into a room with two double beds but when we arrived it was only one double bed. We made the decision to leave and stay somewhere else almost immediately, but Sun Outdoors Marathon would not refund us for the 3 nights we did not stay. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Rooms are dirty, service is terrible. I don’t know how this place is even still in business, I suspect it won’t be much longer. Don’t book here!

We have stayed here for the past 5-6 vacations. Every time we go there we notice the upgrades from the previous stay. The employees are great, the weather is great, the location is great. Never any issues. We have stayed in our motor home, and in the tiny houses. The prices are fair, cheaper than most places in the Keys. The pool is nice, the fishing is good. You’ll love it here. Maybe someday we will make the move from Iowa to the keys, and stay here more often. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we do.

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the Keys. The cottage was very clean, comfortable beds and had everything we needed inside. It’s perfect for a family with kids. We all slept very well and it’s quiet outside at night, which we really appreciated. The staff and management are very kind, friendly, and always available to make your stay pleasant and ensure you have everything you need. Highly recommend!

Just completed a 4 month stay. Awesome experience. Great staff willing to help anytime. Park kept dang near spotless. Been coming here for five years now and it gets better every year. New furniture in Marina and it’s totally upgraded with fans, lights, new chairs and tables.

One of the best sunsets in Marathon.

Cant wait to come back next June.
