Unhitched Milton

Very nice big campground. They allow dogs and have a dog park. It was too dark when we arrived so our babies didn't get to check it out. We were just passing through. We did do a nice walk around the campground with the dogs. The site was nice and had a cement pad. The real convenience was it was just off the highway.

Bella and I had a wonderfully pleasant stay at Unhitched RV Park, formerly the KOA in Milton, and it was exactly the kind of easy, welcoming stop every traveler hopes for. From arrival to departure, the park felt relaxed, well cared for, and genuinely friendly—one of those places where you immediately feel comfortable settling in.

What really stood out was how dog- and child-friendly the atmosphere is. There’s plenty of space to walk, explore, and enjoy the outdoors, making it ideal for families traveling with kids and pets alike. Bella had a great time stretching her legs and soaking up all the new sights and smells, and it was clear that furry companions are truly welcomed here—not just tolerated.

The park itself is clean, organized, and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to navigate whether you’re staying overnight or lingering a bit longer. As a former KOA, it still carries that dependable, traveler-focused feel, while embracing its new identity with a friendly, community-minded vibe. It’s a solid choice for anyone passing through the Florida Panhandle or looking for a calm, reliable base near Milton.

Overall, Unhitched RV Park is a really pleasant place to stay, especially if you’re traveling with dogs or children and want a stop that feels safe, welcoming, and stress-free. Bella and I left refreshed and happy—and it’s definitely a park I’d gladly return to on future travels. 🚐🐾🌴

We lease their party room and consistently have a wonderful time. The venue is spotless and the team is incredibly accommodating. My daughter and her friends have an absolute blast, utilizing the playground, playing pop golf, and participating in movie night. We are truly grateful.

We rented the clubhouse for my daughter's birthday party and it was the best party we have had in a while. The clubhouse was very clean, neat, and was perfect for our guest. Lincoln, Danielle, and her husband were very accommodating, the service was top notch!! I'm so glad we planned this at Unhitched! Lincoln was very nice making our reservation and having everything ready when we arrived. Danielle and her husband were very nice checking in on us after we were setting up making sure everything was fine. Thanks again for making our day the best. We will definitely be back!

Use to be a KOA not sure anything about that but this spot is where its at. Relaxed, quiet and the place to go if you want to get away from it all. They have a pool, putt putt gold hammocks, shade trees relaxing chairs its all here. They even have a nature trail that is really nice and about maybe half a mile long. With it being next to the interstate we still didnt hear any noise, neighbors were chill. They offer long term slots or by the day. Prices are about what I would consider normal. They can discount if you are military or staying long term.
I didnt notice any loud parties or rambunctious people very low key.
