Fantastic place to visit. We came in a 34 foot travel trailer and stayed on site 35 for a week. Everything was amazing. We used the clubhouse for laundry and the shower house. Owner was very accommodating to our arrival and helpful throughout our stay. We will be back!

My family, including two children and two dogs just stayed here for a week during our visit to Manasota beach for collecting sharks teeth. (15 minutes away and we found LOTS!) the resort is small, private and very calm. We could tell lots of the people lived there and a few of them talked to us and were very friendly, telling us about the alligator, manatee and otter that has been seen in the area. We didn’t personally see them though. There is a small island you can walk to with your dogs and you can fish there as well. Our RV was backed up to the river so we could also fish right at the back anytime we wanted. (Get some shrimp bait from Cooks SPORTLAND about 15 minutes away, they were great!) we did leave our camper and things overnight while we travelled to Orlando and everything was perfectly fine when we came back. The showers were clean, laundry area was clean, the sites are full hookup and gravelled which made for a nice setup. We honestly don’t have complaints. This place is smaller than other resorts, but you get the perks of a more private experience and less of a crowd. This place would be especially loved by elderly or those who prefer to have a more private experience. We already can’t wait to come back. Thanks Lisa for being so great and thanks Greg for telling us about your cool rafting adventures.

We stayed here 5 nights to spend time with friends that were staying in Englewood. We really enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in site 35. We loved that it was on the river and had a concrete patio up to the water with a little fence to keep our dogs safe from the water. The facilities were very clean and the grounds were clean and well kept. Even though we didn’t get in the pool due to spending time with our friends, it was very inviting. The host were very friendly and were helpful in answering our questions about the area. We will definitely come back again.

We were in a pinch the past few days. With a loss of income and a baby on the way, we needed a backup plan because our landlord company in Englewood absolutely screwed us. We came here hoping for a miracle. And boy did we get one! The park may be under new management but gosh are they so lovely! Lisa gave us a fast tour of all their offerings, toured the main office area, saw the pool, they have a lovely outside communal area too. Given our situation, worrying about eviction, facing homelessness, we were THRILLED when they were able to have us set and ready to go with ease. The paperwork was smooth, and Lisa and her Husband were kind, sweet and respectful! We're looking forward to mingling with the community and making some friends along the way. We cannot thank them enough for the price being within our very low budget either. Hoping for brighter days here!

Clean, great location, great price. New management has made a HUGE difference. They are so nice and welcoming. The spots are flat, graveled, and well maintained. Do not let the overall review score scare you, old owners and reviews are dragging it down. If you are visiting Englewood, Venice, North Port, etc, this is the perfect place.
