A great place to stay in central Florida. Bike trails and lots of woods to explore with all the family. Its very peaceful and beautiful with miles of forests all around. The silver springs are near by with amazing waters to kayak and see nature. Ocala is just a few miles away and is such a beautiful city. If you want a fantastic family retreat in the most beautiful part of central Florida this is the best spot. The cabins are luxurious and super comfortable with everything for a family and the camp grounds are full of trees and super quiet at night with camp fires and star filled skies. 100% great destination 😃

Fauna Chalet was an absolute dream stay. We flew from Arizona to Florida and drove to Ocala to ring in the New Year, and this upgraded cabin was everything I needed and more. The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed—with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to truly unwind. The surrounding area was so quiet and serene, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.

We spent three amazing days hiking through scenic forest trails, enjoying the beautiful weather, and even driving out to go ziplining—which was honestly the experience of a lifetime! Sharing this trip with good friends made it even more special. Between the comfort of the cabin, the natural beauty, and the fun adventures nearby, it was truly a blast from start to finish. I would highly recommend Fauna Chalet to anyone looking for a relaxing yet memorable getaway.

Had a great time here last week for a couple of nights. The cabin (11) was amazing. Everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen to WIFI. The front deck was nice with a couple of chairs and table along with a gas grill. Located inside of a small RV park the people there were nice and friendly. But the main reason we there was for the top rated bike trails. Located with direct access just feet from the Santo’s trail system this location is awesome. If you enjoy the paved trail or the adventurous mountain bike trails there is something for everyone. Definitely will be back again!

We stayed with our family in Cabin 12 and had a wonderful experience. The cabin had everything we needed—super comfortable beds, very clean, and stocked with all the essential amenities. Our child absolutely loved the loft and thought it was the coolest part of the cabin!

The location was perfect—close to Publix and Silver Springs, which made our trip even better. We had an amazing time at Silver Springs and were we saw gators and manatees.

The only thing we wished we had brought were our bikes. There are fantastic bike trails you can access right from the campground, near the bike maintenance area. We would definitely bring our bikes next time!

Overall, it was a great stay, and we would happily return.
