Rv sites were so close and no were to park car. I paid for the privilege. Disappointing. The rest of the facility was great.

Very active gun club on other side of the road. I couldn't hear them from where my RV was parked. My spot had a large tree that dropped a lot of trash on my truck, I think that was the only tree on the block.

I used the automated features in the Thousand trails to check in since arrived on a Sunday and the office was closed. I loved the self check in feature on the app which assigned me a site and provided a map and all the information I needed. This was a stop over and I left early before the office opened. I got a call later from the office and it appeared that they had no idea that I had been assigned a site and I felt they admonished me since I had not stopped by the office to check in the next business day. I had to tell the staff which site I was assigned. There seems to be a disconnect between Thousand Trails and the campground. I thought it was supposed to be no contact check in?

This park is pretty nice, but I have to be honest. I booked this reservation through Thousand Trails, and as some know, had to pay a +$20/day premium for staying here. This site did not include sewer, and only had 30a electric, which my rig cannot use. On top of that, the site is so cramped that we are LITERALLY 4 inches away from our neighbor's awning on one side, and cannot possibly extend our own awning on the other. We were also assigned a spot down wind of the trash compactor, and would often smell it. The location of the park itself is also too remote. You have to drive at least 30 minutes to get to anything like food or shopping...
I understand that there is golf here, but that's nothing special for me. The park is nice enough that I would possibly return, but only if all the other Encores like Holiday Travel and Winter Quarter Pasco are full.
It doesn't make sense to pay more to get less. The golf is not a caveat for me.

Was not a pleasant experience. We made reservations online and when arriving no one was there at the checkin table so we drove around trying to ask others what to do as we didn’t get an email with directions for off days. Someone finally drove up and told us where to park our rig but he seemed irritated by our presence. The place we parked was terribly uneven with tree roots and super tight as they had a small space available. We finally got set up and began chatting with our nice neighbors across the street who had kids and they started playing with ours. There is a field of grass so we let the kids all play while standing watch and conversating. We had two permanent residents come out and yell at us all for letting the kids play and it wasn’t even quite hours yet and the kids were not being loud. Also one of the grounds workers kid was playing with ours as well and said yeah the people here are like that and not very nice. We decide to not book further days and move out the next day. Then 2 weeks later I had been charged another $60 by mistake saying we were staying a week after we were there I called and they refunded it thankfully. However, I would never stay her nor recommend it to anyone with kids. 55 and older only and if you want to be crammed and have fun trying to get your rig parked in.
