I love the boat landing. Drop off is quick. Nice paved slip proof but can go without shoes clean. Other cars coming in and out so safe. It's a pretty drive to it and couple small beach area to the right if u in a boat.

I was bringing back Scarecrow and his dog I had gave him Blu. They had spent Thanksgiving with us. They spend their life on the kayak and occasionally hike. They were heading down the Suwanee river and will end up on the east coast. I had met Scarecrow camping under a bridge here in Andalusia, Al. We have been friends since. I hope to be able to pick them up again next Thanksgiving fir another week visit. Gornto Springs was a nice campground and the man running it was nice also. I would recommend it.

We approached Gornto Springs on kayaks. We first passed the boat ramp, which had a large rope swing. There were several RVs at the campground surrounding the springs. There was a very nice playground, a floating dock overlooking the head springs, a mowed lawn surrounding the property, and a nice, shallow, and clear spring run out to the Suwannee River. There were no gnats or bugs!!!!!

This is a local, non tourist spring. The water is clear but green due to allege. It follows directly into Suwannee river. There are bathrooms and showers. There is a picnic area, RV hook-ups, and tent camping areas. Check my photos for additional park info and pricing for camping.
