We camped here for 2 nights. We choose this campground because we want to be in the area of the Nature Coast bike path. I was told they would have a fire ring ready for us and that they had cable TV and Wi-Fi. Online says every site has a picnic table. My husband had to carry a 50 pound fire ring to our site which we borrowed from a neighbor by our site who lives in the campground and wasn't using it. Most people live in this campground. So that was the first problem. Then the cable TV didn't work and the WiFi was very weak . So watching TV didn't happen. We had no picnic table on our site so thankfully we had brought chairs and a small table ourselves. Quite time starts at 8pm instead of 10 pm like most campgrounds so we didn't feel good about talking while sitting around the camp fire. I will give them this, it is super quiet there. You are not allowed to play music at any time. We can respect that. Also it was super cold while we were there and there is no heat in the tiny bath house and the window stays open. We didn't use it at all but if you need a campground with a bath house don't stay here in the cold months or you would freeze.

Cheryl and Dave were AMAZING hosts! I really enjoyed the peace and quite! It's just what I needed. The Adult Only community made it a plus for me. I met numerous people and everyone was so happy and kind. The showers and restrooms were very clean and I was super comfortable. I highly recommend Old Town Campground! 💯💯💯

It's a nice quiet campground with friendly people. It doesn't have a lot of amenities. There are two showers. It's about a 20-minute drive into town for groceries.

Spent the entire winter from Dec 2023 to May 2024 here.
Quiet off the beaten path campground. Had a full service site for most of our stay when one became available.
Close to town for gas, groceries hardware needs and camp supplies.
For even more amenities you need to drive to Chiefland about 20 minutes away. Walmart and Winn Dixie there.
The campground itself has large sites where you're not jammed close to one another. 30 and 50 amp services, sewer water, cable and internet all included. Our site was HUGE!!! By far, a great value. Management is helpful and quick to respond to any needs or concerns. Everyone we met were quite friendly. If you're into a more rustic setting, this place is great! Also have to give a shout out to the donkeys!!!
I have a soft spot for them......
