The campground needs a major renovation. The bathrooms are so old and need air conditioning. It would be great if you could put in a sewer system. There is no check-in, but the host expect you to know the rules, like no wheels on the grass.

It is such a beautiful area and we enjoyed our visit. Watching the Blue Angels practice was awesome and they flew right by the campground. We went up to the Fort to watch them and it was just awesome.

Check-in was easy, beach was lovely, Fort has been updated and very nice, friendly and informative rangers.
However, the site’s electric outlets were too far away from our camper’s electric connectors so we were unable to connect to a/c.

Parking pads and room on either side were perfect for slide outs and awnings. Enough flexibility to move forward or backward in case branches are in the way. Individual showers, restrooms and laundry were centrally located, clean and convenient. Loop A is the place to be!

This is a GREAT park/campgrounds! Very clean and easy to navigate. You can easily get to the Gulf or the bay from loops B-E. Loved that they had a laundry room as the state parks I stayed at on this trip did not. And it has the ability for you to pay via app instead of having to use cash/coins. The Fort itself was a great place to explore and learn more about. Loved the self guided walking tour option. And getting to watch the Blue Angels practice was amazing! Loved that you had the option to have restroom facilities, a covered patio and a life guard at Langdon beach.

Short walk to the gorgeous beach.
Hosts were conspicuous and helpful.
Would camp here again.
