What Guests Are Saying

Shell Creek Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained environment, featuring clean restrooms and friendly hosts who go above and beyond to assist campers. The picturesque location, nestled among large pine trees and alongside a charming creek, enhances the overall experience. While there were some minor issues such as generator noise and biting flies, the positives greatly outweigh the negatives, making it a highly recommended spot for campers.

Beautiful location. Clean restrooms and friendly camp host. Out of staters from North Dakota let their dogs chase deer and they parked on the grass, wild flowers and brush; not staying on the graveled designated parking space.

The campground is beautiful, huge pine trees with the creek running through the campground. The camp host was awesome. We will definitely be going back.

Beautiful campground. Clean toilets.
Only downside was the biting flies that overwhelmed our site.

Great campground. Well kept, camp host on site, very nice pit toilets at either end, and easy access to the creek especially sites down the end, numbers 10 - 12.

Probably would’ve picked number 10 if I knew better, it was less shaded, but more secluded (decent sized field on one side and a grove of trees on the other. I was in 12, and the creek was just 30 feet behind the campsite, which was great. The people next to me had a generator going most of the time - not really what I wanted to hear, but, nothing to get on about that. Thankfully the creek was louder than the generator!

Really, though all the campsites are well spaced, just some a little more than others and the campground was full on this first week in July.

The pit toilets were very clean, unsmelly, had plenty of toilet paper, a bottle of hand sanitizer and motion light for the night. Lots and lots of pretty flowers at the beginning of July!

Oh and I like that they had these 5 gallon buckets at the water spouts, which are very tall, so you can get your container closer to the actual water flow. Thank you!

Definitely would stay again!

Great campsite. BUT, although we made a reservation someone else had taken our site because the host had put a sign up that said: “open tonight”.
Luckily the other family was willing to move elsewhere.
