Great for a small or large group. Room/hook ups for 4 RVs. Right on the lake, close to paddling on Suwanee and North Fork of the Blackwater.

Group Landing is a lovely area. The lack of shower facility and ports potties were disappointing. Had hoped the work on the septic would have been completed by now. Also there was confusion with the key code which made for extra miles on the road and getting a late start on our set up.

Group Landing is a site we enjoy very much. It is out of the way and very private. Make sure you pack your bug spray as this is surrounded by woods and some swampy ground! Also, bring a large tarp to put on the pavilion to cut the wind if it starts blowing across the lake. The site has power and water though the bathrooms and showers are currently out of operation.

This would have been an excellent review. However, the lack of flushing toilets and hot water showers was a huge negative experience for our group. This was essentially a primitive campsite except that we paid significantly more than a primitive campsite would have cost. I believe the restroom situation has been like this for several months. This is unacceptable in my opinion and we would not return to this site unless the restrooms were fixed. After driving around to check out other camping facilities in this area of Osceola National Forest, most of the restroom facilities are out of order. This appears to be a serious neglect problem and is very unfortunate that those in charge don't care about the upkeep in this beautiful forest.

Thanks! Had a great time as usual. Great place to stay with large groups. One of Troop 475's favorite places!
