Convenient brand new laundry facilities. If you have bikes, a quick ride to the beach. Best shelling so far traveling in Florida. Hotel bars are good but you'll find out they close at sunset. So weird, but bartender says the bugs, assuming mosquitos are so bad everyone leaves, and they did. Also, every time you go across the Sanibel bridge, you get charged. They photo your license plate.

Be sure to request a site in their campground area otherwise you get this. The pictures will tell all. Laundry was clean with Speed Queen washers. Rinse cycle is a spray, so wouldn’t use liquid softener. Wash is $1.50, dry .25 cents for 5 minutes. The showers are clean enough and need updating. The water pressure is terrible. Beware long haired ladies.

We love camping at Periwinkle Park! The site we had was great, we love that we can bike to the beach within minute (as well as to restaurants and other things), and we love that there are no dogs. It's a wonderful park that is clean, quiet, and in a great location. Been there camping numerous times and love it!

We lucked out with a last-minute stay here, and it was absolutely wonderful. This campground is typically booked up for a reason — it’s peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly located just a short walk from the beach. The staff and guests were friendly, the bathrooms and showers were close and clean, and nights were quiet and relaxing. A true Sanibel gem.

We really enjoyed our stay at Perrywinkle campground! Always wanted to visit Sanibel and pleasantly surprised to see we could stay here at Perrywinkle campground. Staff and all services very nice, well kept up. Perrywinkle has both permanent residents and a smaller U shaped loop for RVs staying here like us just for a few days. Surprised to see when we got here that we were the only campers on the U-Loop! We had the whole loop to ourselves, not another RV in sight so that was strange but also very interesting as this has never happened to us before being the only campers here. The space is very clean, well maintained, has all connections available. While there is no Wi-Fi that is not an issue because we just hotspotted on our Verizon phones (5bars and 5G) very strong signal. You need to bring bicycles here for sure! Not just for the short 5 min ride to the beach close to the campground but also it’s so much fun riding bike to the nearby restaurants. The Lighthouse Cafe is very close (0.3 mile) and the “Tutti Pazzi” Italian restaurant equally close.We were vet much impressed by the Shrimp Scampi pasta and the Veal Marsala. August here is HOT! We are from Cape Canaveral area so we are used to August weather in the 95s but on Cape Canaveral there is much more of a breeze, not so much here. NoSeams and mosquitos are aggressive here so bring it ALL, you will need it! Very thankful to Amy and staff at Perrywinkle for a great stay here! Will come gain in Spring time!
